Before the clear aligner treatment, problems such as caries and dental calculus should be treated and possible problems should be eliminated during the orthodontic treatment process. The morphology of the teeth must also be preserved in order for the aligners to sit on the teeth properly.
If the Orthodontist has stated that clear aligner treatment is appropriate, treatment can now be started. Beforehand, an analysis is prepared by taking measurements, photographs and films. With this analysis, it is learned how much a tooth will move, how the teeth will be arranged, and how many aligner will be used. Then the production of the aligners begins. Records are produced in a series and each record has a number. How many aligners will be used in the treatment are all listed sequentially. The physician starts the treatment with the plate number one.
